Patricia Crawford, Burlington Farm Senior Trainer, and her Swedish Warmblood mare, L.A. Baltic River Shadow (at their first show), won the Training Level - Test 2A Open class with a score of 76.070% and the Training Level - Test 3A Open class with a score of 76.400%!

Karin Worm, riding the Friesian gelding, Calypso (owned by Darlene Phillips) won the Training Level - Test 1 AA class with a score of 69.130%. Darlene also rode Calypso to a 2nd place ribbon in the Training Level Test 2B AA class with a score of 62.143%!

 

 

Burlington Farm riders/horses "cleaned-up" at the Wits End Farm Show in Jackson, NJ on July 13th, bringing home nine (9) blue ribbons!

Joan DePalo, riding her Dutch Warmblood gelding Prince, won the First Level - Test 3 Open class with a score of 66.857%. This pair also won the First Level - Test 4 class with a score of 71.053%!

Megan Teeters and her Friesian stallion, Cheval, continued their winning ways. They were first in the Training Level - Test 4B AA class with a score of 72.400% and they also won the First Level - Test 1 AA class with a score of 68.000%.

Lindsay Allen, riding Gazis Reason, won both of her Introductory classes with scores of 67.500% and 65.500%.

Rebbeca Hassert, riding the Friesian mare Wenda, was second in the Training Level - Test 3B class with a score of 68.000% and third in the First Level - Test 1 class with a score of 62.677%.

 

On June 22, 2008, Burlington Farm riders competed at the Middlesex Dressage Show held at the Black River Farm in Ringoes, NJ.

Megan Teeters and her Friesian stallion, Cheval, won the Training Level - Test 3 class with a score of 66.800%! They also placed third in the Training Level - Test 4 class with a 64.800%

Rebecca Hassert, riding L.A. Baltic Ebony, was second in the Training Level - Test 3 class with a score of 64.800% and fourth in the Training Level - Test 4 class with a 64.400%.

Joan DePalo and her Dutch Warmblood gelding, Prince, (coming back from an injury layoff) placed second in the First Level - Test 3 class with a score of 61.714% and fifth in the First Level - Test 4 class with a 60.263%!

Lindsay Allen, riding Gazis Reason, won both of her Introductory classes - one with a score of 71.000%!

Megan Teeters on her Friesian stallion, Cheval, won the Sunday Training Level - Test 3 class with a score of 65.600%. This pair also won two thirds on Saturday in Training Level - Test 3 & 4 with scores of 64.000% and 65.600%.

 

 

 

Led by Head Dressage Trainer, Lisa Basselini, Burlington Farm riders brought home blue ribbons from the Dressage at DVHA show in Sergeantsville, NJ on June 7, 8, 2008.

Lisa, riding Mountain Morning, won the Sunday Second Level - Test 3 class with a score of 67.209% and the Sunday Second Level - Test 4 class with a score of 71.905%! Lisa also rode Cameo von Star Cross to second and third place ribbons in those two classes (63.953% and 67.381%).

Karin Worm riding Calypso, the Friesian gelding owned by Darlene Phillips, was second in the Training Level - Test 3 class on Saturday with a score of 65.200% and fifth in the Training Level - Test 4 class with a score of 64.800%. Darlene rode Calypso herself on Sunday and finished third in the Training Level - Test 1 class.

Rebecca Hassert, on L.A. Baltic Ebony, finished third in the Sunday Training Level - Test 3 class and second in the Training Level - Test 4 class with a score of 70.400%!

 

 

Congratulations to Karin Worm and Calypso who were Training Level Adult Amateur High Score Challenge Reserve Champions at the ESDCTA's Memorial Weekend Show held at the Horse Park of New Jersey on May 23, 24 & 25, 2008.

Karin and Calypso, a Friesian gelding owned by Darlene Phillips, won this honor by posting a two-day average score of 67.200% (in Training Level -Test 3 and Test 4). Darlene and Calypso earned a sixth place in a Training Level - Test 2 class with a score of 60.357%

Megan Teeters and her Friesian stallion, Cheval, had a 68.696% in the Saturday Training Level - Test 1 class, which earned them a third place ribbon. This pair also won a fifth place ribbon in the Saturday Training Level - Test 2 class with a 63.571%.

Other notable results - Lisa Basselini, Head Dressage Trainer, won a Second Level - Test 4 class on Mountain Morning with a score of 64.286% and the pair was second in a Second Level - Test 3 class with a score of 65.116%! Lisa also finished second in a Second Level - Test 4 class riding Cameo von Star Cross. Their score was 68.333%!

Rebecca Hassert, riding L.A. Baltic Ebony, finished second in a Training Level - Test 3 class with a score of 60.800% and they were fifth in another Training Level - Test 3 class with a score of 63.200%!.

Burlington Farm was well represented at EMMA's Spring Fling II Horse Show at USET Headquarters in Gladstone, NJ on May 16, 17, 2008.

Head Dressage Trainer, Lisa Basselini, won two classes on Cameo von Star Cross. They won the Second Level - Test 3 on Friday with a score of 61.395% and the Second Level - Test 3 on Saturday with a score of 65.581%! The pair also won a second and a third in other Second Level classes.

Lisa also won the Second Level - Test 4 class on Mountain Morning with a score of 68.571% and they won two seconds and a third in other Second Level classes.

Lindsay Allen, riding Gazis Reason (barn name "Beau") won all of her Introductory A & B classes. The pair had a high score of 69.000% in the Test B class on Saturday!

Calypso, a Friesian gelding owned by Darlene Phillips, was shown by both Karin Worm and by Darlene at Training Level. Between them, they won three seconds and a fourth!

Congratulations to Christy Sami and her Thoroughbred gelding Gazis Reason (barn name "Beau"). The pair won the Advanced Adult Equitation Reserve Championship at the Delaware Valley Horseman's Association show in Sergeantsville, NJ on April 27, 2008.

Christy and "Beau" were 2nd and 3rd in the over fences classes and 2nd in the flat class.

 

 

Congratulations to Burlington Farm riders and horses who attended the Saddlebrook Ridge Schooling Dressage Show in Shamong, NJ on April 5, 2008, and came back with many ribbons!

Leading the way was Head Dressage Trainer, Lisa Basselini, who won three classes. Lisa and Mountain Morning won the Second Level - Test 1 class with a score of 68.947%. Lisa, riding the Friesian mare, Cameo von Star Cross, also won the Second Level - Test 3 class (68.837%) and the Second Level - Test 4 class (69.041/%).

Karin Worm and her Swedish Warmblood mare, Savanna, won the First Level - Test 3 class with a score of 64.285% and placed second in the First Level - Test 4 class with a score of 62.631%!

Lindsay Allen, riding Gazis Reason (better known as Beau), placed second in Starter Rider - Test B with a score of 70%. The pair also placed fourth in Starter Rider - Test A with a score of 61%.

Cheval, a Friesian stallion, was shown by his owner, Megan Teeters in three classes. In Starter Rider - Test A the pair finished second with a score of 71%. In Starter Rider - Test B they won the class with a score of 79%! They also showed in Open Training - Test 1 and finished in second place with a 59.565%.

Rebecca Hassert, riding L.A. Baltic Ebony, won the Open Training - Test 4 class with a score of 62.4% and they were second in the Open Training - Test 3 class with a score of 62.0%.

Darlene Phillips and her Friesian gelding, Calypso, showed in the Starter Rider Training - Test 1 and Test 2 classes and finished third in both classes with scores of 60.357% and 60.889%.

On November 30, 2007, The Central Jersey Horsemen's Association held it's year-end awards banquet at the Sheraton in Eatontown, NJ.

Dawn Edwards, one of the hunter/jumper trainers that operates out of Burlington Farm, and her students did extremely well.

Jordynn Shaffer was the Beginner Equitation Champion and Leah Toscano was the Mini-Stirrup Champion. These awards are based on the placings achieved (and total points won) during the 2007 CJHA show year.

Congratulations to Burlington Farm riders and horses who attended the Dressage at Devon Breed Show on September 25th and 26th, 2007 and came home with ribbons!

Fokke, owned by Theresa Beni and ridden by Laurel Grasser, was second in the Suitable To Become A Dressage Horse class (6 Year Olds).

Savanna, ridden by her owner Karin Worm, was sixth in that same class. Savanna and Karin also took a fifth place in the Amateur Handler class and finished third in the Swedish Warmblood class.

 

Burlington Farm riders had another "great" show at the ESDCTA's Championship Show on September 23, 2007!

Lisa Basselini, Head Dressage Trainer, won the First Level Championship on Mountain Morning with a combined score of 66.993% (67.143% in Test 3 and 66.842% in Test 4). She also was First Level Reserve Champion on Cameo von Star Cross with a combined score of 66.684% (66.000% and 67.368%).

Karin Worm and Savanna finished fourth in the Training Level Championship with a combined score of 65.500% (63.200% in Test 3 and 67.800% in Test 4).

Darlene Phillips, riding her Friesian gelding Calypso, finished third in the Introductory Level - Senior Rider Championship with a combined score of 67.750%.

Joyce Wilkins, on her Morgan gelding, P.R.'s Promise-Airy Note, finished fourth in the Introductory Level - Senior Rider Championship with a combined score of 67.000%.

Theresa Beni, on her Friesian gelding Fokke, showed in the USDF Intro A and Intro B Open classes. She earned a third place in Intro A with a score of 57.000% and a second place in Intro B with a score of 65.500%.

Burlington Farm dressage riders, once again, did very well at their last show - Dressage At Stone Tavern (August 31 - September 2, 2007).

Lisa Basselini, Head Dressage Trainer, won two First Level classes with scores of 75.784% and 68.857% and was second and third in two others with Cameo von Star Cross!

Lisa also won a Second Level - Test 3 class with Prince with a score of 64.186%.

Lisa, riding Eloise MWF, also garnered two second place finishes in First Level - Test 1 and Test 2 with scores of 68.333% and 64.444%.

Karin Worm and her horse, Savanna, won their Training Level - Test 4 class with a score of 65.200% and had other high places at the show.

 

Burlington Farm riders "cleaned up" at the BFK North Midsummer Dressage Show in Gladstone, NJ on August 11th and 12th!

Led by Head Dressage Trainer, Lisa Basselini, the riders (Karin Worm and Karol Domagala) won a total of 17 ribbons (7 Firsts, 4 Seconds, 2 Thirds, 3 Fourths and 1 Fifth)!

Lisa won three First Level classes on Mountain Morning and the pair achieved a high score of 68.667% in Training Level - Test 1. She also won a First Level - Test 4 class on Cameo von Star Cross with a score of 71.316% and a Second Level - Test 3 class on Prince with a score of 67.442%!

Karin Worm and Savanna won their Saturday Training Level - Test 3 class with a score of 72.800% (their highest score ever). On Sunday the pair won their Training Level - Test 4 class with a score of 70.800% and then they moved up a level to First Level - Test 1, where they finished second with a score of 67.000%!

Karin Worm and Savanna at the ESDCTA Memorial Day Weekend show where they were the A/A High Score Challenge Training Level Champions

 

On July 20th and 21st, 2007, Karin Worm and Savanna and Lisa Basselini (Head Dressage Trainer at Burlington Farm) and Cameo von Star Cross competed at the Dressage At The Park show at the Horse Park of New Jersey.

Karin and Savanna won their Training Level - Test 4 classes on both days with scores of 63.600% and 69.200%!

Lisa and Cameo were 2nd in both their First Level - Test 3 and Test 4 classes on Friday with scores of 64.857% and 65.789%! On Saturday they were 2nd again in the First Level - Test 4 class with a score of 67.368% and they won the First Level - Test 3 class with a score of 68.000%!

Trainers Ingrid Junqua and Dawn Edwards (along with their clients) have relocated to Burlington Farm.

Ingrid and Dawn train hunters, jumpers and hunter equitation and show extensively in the Tri-State area.

They also sell and broker the sale of top quality hunters and jumpers.

Now, with their presence, Burlington Farm truly becomes a "full service equestrian facility" offering lessons, training, sales and showing in multiple disciplines - dressage and hunters and jumpers!

On Saturday, October 14, 2006, Karin Worm (who boards her two horses at Burlington Farm) took her "youngster", Savanna, to her first ever horse show.

Competing in Training Level at The Meadow in Mt. Holly, NJ, the pair won the Training Level - Test 2 class with a 65.769% and they were second in the Training Level - Test 1 class with a 62.727%.

On Saturday, October 21, 2006, the pair competed at Saddlebrook Ridge Equestrian Center in Shamong, NJ. Showing in the Starter Horse -Training Level Test 1 & 2, Karin and Savanna won both their classes with scores of 68.181% and 70.00%!

Congratulations to both of you!

Karin says, "I am still speechless...Savanna was FANTASTIC!!!!".
